Dr Vivek Sood obtained his medical degree from SUNY Downstate, Brooklyn in 2000. He completed his orthopedic residency from SUNY Downstate in 2006. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at Rush Medical Center, Chicago and a second fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Mt Sinai Medical Center in New York. He practiced in Glen Burnie, MD and at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Anne Arundel Medical Center, and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Over the last ten years, he has been involved in multiple medical mission trips through Operation Walk Maryland and Operation International.
