My name is Dr. Travis Denna, and I am currently in my fifth and final year of Otolaryngology (ENT) residency training. I am thrilled to be joining Team Heart of Texas to bring surgical care to those in need in Uganda. I was born and raised in the Sacramento, CA region, where I grew up enjoying hiking, camping, and playing sports such as football, basketball, and tennis. During my undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University – Idaho, I married my childhood best friend, Stephanie. We have been blessed with four children with our most recent being born this past November. My passion for international work began during a mission for my church in Brazil from 2011 to 2013, where I developed a deep appreciation for global healthcare initiatives. I have developed a profound love for the field of Otolaryngology and am dedicated to impacting the lives of those who are in desperate need of care. I hope to bring ENT care to individuals in Uganda who otherwise would not have access to life-changing treatment. On behalf of myself, my wife Stephanie, and our family, I thank you for your support.
