Dr. Son Lam Nguyen, DO, completed his medical education at Western University ofHealth Sciences in Pomona, California, and his family medicine residency at Long Beach Memorial in Long Beach, California. He has been with The Permanente Medical Group since 2008 and currently serves as the site chief for the Adult and Family Medicine Department in Union City, California. Additionally, he is an adjunct assistant professor of Family Medicine at Touro University in Vallejo, California. In 2004, Dr. Nguyen volunteered with a medical mission team in Vietnam, delivering medical care to underserved rural villages in Vietnam that inspired a lifetime of commitment to serving the poor.
