Hi, my name is Jennifer. I was born in Thailand and raised in California. I have always wanted to become a nurse but wasn't really pursuing it until my father had his first heart attack. My sister and I performed CPR until the paramedics arrived and shocked him out of his VFib arrest. The nurse named Betty from the cardiac ICU touched my family and I in so many ways. That day I pursued my career at full force. I worked full time and went to school full time, graduated with my ADN in 2006 and achieved my BSN in 2012. Due to me working in the Emergency Department before I became a nurse, I fell in love with emergency nursing. I love the adrenaline rush of the emergency room setting. I love serving patients from newborn to geriatric, from birth to death, aches and pains to the critical ills. Pediatric patients are my passion. I choose to join OI Team Cleft Repair due ty my love for the kids. This is a great opportunity for me to give back.
