Caroline Gauthier

Dr. Gauthier is a highly trained obstetrician-gynecologist specializing in gynecological minimally invasive surgery (MIS). She completed a fellowship in Quebec, Canada, where she developed advanced skills in complex laparoscopic surgery, with a focus on challenging gynecological pathologies. Dr. Gauthier further enhanced her expertise in chronic pelvic pain and gynecological ultrasound through specialized training in Europe. In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Gauthier completed advanced studies in Medical Education, specializing in simulation-based learning, at the University of Dundee in Scotland. This academic achievement enables her to integrate innovative teaching strategies into her clinical practice, enriching the education of the next generation of healthcare professionals. Currently, Dr. Gauthier practices at a leading tertiary and quaternary academic medical center in Montreal, where she is committed to advancing women’s health through high-quality medical care. She strongly believes in the importance of prioritizing women’s health both locally and internationally, recognizing the need for equitable access to care across all communities. She also plays an active role in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, ensuring the continuous growth of expertise in women’s healthcare.
