I am a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery resident at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. There is an enormous need for reconstructive surgery across the world and I would like to make collaboration with surgeons from other countries an integral aspect of my career. This will be my first mission trip since becoming a doctor, and I am incredibly excited and grateful to be joining Operation International to Ghana this fall. I chose Operation International because it is an organization that has previously worked with surgeons from my hospital and it has received very positive reviews from them.
