Dr. Adriann Combs is a board certified, doctoral prepared neonatal nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of experience in high-risk obstetrics and neonatal intensive care. Adriann is the Assistant Vice President of Quality and Safety for the OBGYN Service Line and Clinical Director of the Center for Maternal Health for a large health system in downstate New York. She is a member of the New York State Perinatal Quality Collaborative Obstetric and Neonatal expert workgroups. She publishes and presents on perinatal safety, extrauterine transition and retinopathy of prematurity. She has traveled to Africa multiple times on medical missions, most recently to Rwanda with the American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus to work with neonatal teams in Kigali, Rwanda to reduce the rate and severity of Retinopathy of Prematurity. She is a board member and past president of the New York State Perinatal Association and the Stony Brook University School of Nursing and a member of the advisory board for the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health.
