Team Manhattan will head on its third mission this fall to Tanzania. The team will aim to complete as many surgeries as possible and work on strengthening OI's relationship with Tanganyika District Hospital and the local staff there. The team also hopes to continue the tradition of educating the local healthcare providers to provide sustainable health care in the region.
Team Manhattan focuses on providing head and neck and craniofacial surgical care. The team was established in 2022 by Drs. Mona Gangar and Dilip Madnani. Both Mona and Dilip have traveled with different teams of Operation International in the past before deciding to establish their own team.
