Operation Restore Vision completed an extremely impressive 338 surgeries during their first trip to Ghana. Many patients traveled from five or six hours away to receive the sight-saving surgeries, a sign of the need for these life-changing operations in the country.
Operation Restore Vision has been leading eye surgical mission trips since its creation in 2009, and this was the team's first mission to Ghana.
After a year of careful planning and hard work, the team of 15 doctors, nurses, and medical technicians helped hundreds of patients who were eagerly waiting for their chance to see again.
