Team NY has finished Operation International’s first-ever mission in Laos, completing 75 maxillofacial, general, thoracic, and gynecological surgeries in just five days in the country. The trip marks the largest project ever undertaken by a foreign NGO in the region, and the team was proud to collaborate with Champasak Provincial Hospital.
Team New York members, which include the founders of our organization, routinely perform innovative general, pediatric, gynecological, plastic and reconstructive procedures. Since their first mission in 1997 to Haiti, the team has traveled to more than a dozen countries together.
