In March 2025, Operation International Team New York will travel to Laos to provide maxillofacial, general, thoracic, and gynecological surgeries to underserved communities. This marks the largest project ever undertaken by a foreign NGO in the region, and we are proud to collaborate with Champasak Provincial Hospital.
Team New York members, which include the founders of our organization, routinely perform innovative general, pediatric, gynecological, plastic and reconstructive procedures. Since their first mission in 1997 to Haiti, the team has traveled to more than a dozen countries together. In their last mission to Tanzania in 2024, the team completed an amazing 90 surgeries in just five days.
