Team DC is a dedicated group of medical professionals headed to Kenya in June to provide free medical and surgical care to patients in need. We are excited to be the second team in Operation International's history to visit the region of Kakamega County, where the community lacks access to basic health care services. In addition to medical care, we will help educate local health providers and will be providing supplies to local schools and orphanages.
Team DC was established and carried out their maiden mission to our base in Uganda in 2018. Since then, under the leadership of Dr. John O'Shea, the team has carried out an annual mission to several OI bases in Africa.
