This is the 4th team of Operation International that visits Ecuador.
‍This is the m mission for Team LA where the team spent long hours training local doctors on advanced laparoscopic procedures
‍As with all first missions, the team had to learn how to navigate the local environment while learning how to work together.

Mission details

This was the first mission to our new team, team LA. We chose that site since 3 other teams of Operation International has worked there. The team’s main goals were to treat as many patients as they could, and train local doctors and nurses on laparoscopic surgery, and they were able to accomplish both goals.
