Operation International's first mission for 2023 is in the books.

Team ENT recently traveled to Guatemala and performed life-changing surgeries and treatments for dozens of patients.

Removing tumors was quite a common procedure, and as you can see in the images and videos, the results are incredibly impactful.

Every person that was treated has a story to tell, and with every story, you not only empathize for the challenges they've faced, but you feel so much joy knowing how much these surgeries will improve their lives!

Yenmi

Meet Yenmi, seen in the photo to the right. She is a 25-year-old who Team ENT met at the clinic on Saturday.

She was unable to leave her home, and she was both devastated and embarrassed given the size of the facial/Parotid tumor she had.

When Team ENT mentioned that her face could become paralyzed with such an operation, she said she’d rather live with a paralyzed face for the rest of her life, rather than have her then-current disfigurement.

Fortunately, and thanks to the skillfull work of Team ENT, they performed her surgery, and on post-op day #1, she had no facial paralysis and a big smile!

Eillen

Meet Eillen, seen in the video below. She has been living with an enlarged tumor for over 8 years.

After getting surgery from TEAM ENT, she is tumor-free and a few pounds lighter, being able to move more freely and live her life with full confidence once again!

Natasha

Natasha Juliana (right) is a 15-year-old who came to the clinic to have her right cheek evaluated.

She also had a Parotid tumor, and Team ENT had it removed!

Keeping her smile intact. Tumor removed, she can grow up happy and healthy, fully confident in her future.
